Arrival in Africa

After a layover in Atlanta we embarked on a fifteen hour flight, which was extended to seventeen because we sat on the tarmac for repairs.  We were much relieved to find Steve waiting for us at the airport in Johannesburg. That evening we went to eat some traditional African food at a nearby restaurant. Our favorite dish that evening was pinotage, a beef stew served over rice.
